I have the honour to serve as a County Councillor for 16 years. My division is the whole of Baldock and half of Letchworth East ward. I am currently on Highways and Environmental Cabinet Panel and I am Vice-Chairman of Development Control Committee. I have previously served on Waste and also on the Scrutiny Committee. I have had the pleasure of serving as Chairman of North Herts District Council. I am also Chairman of Baldock Educational Trust, a Trustee of Letchworth Civic Trust, and I also help many other Community Groups, including Baldock Royal British Legion and Baldock Rotary Club.
In my younger days I was a keen mountaineer and a gliding Instructor with the A.T.C. at R.A.F. Henlow and R.A.F. Holton. I am presently Chairman of Nene Valley Gliding Club. I also hold a Private Pilot’s Licence.
I enjoy being a District and County Councillor – helping others with solving their problems.
