Marios Artemi

As a future councillor I will have the responsibility of helping residents and businesses. Now more
than ever it is important that we have a candidate that is local, hard working and has the knowledge
to manage major infrastructure programmes. I am your local Welwyn Garden City South resident; I
have been living here with my family for the past 15 years, and I strongly believe I understand the
issues and concerns residence and business owners face.

My expertise, as a Chartered Manager within the national rail industry, places me firmly in a position
to understand how public services and major infrastructure programmes work.

As a Chairman of a local education charity, in Potters Bar, I balance a variety of community
requirements to help young people and identify where to prioritise future community services.

I have served the local community at the 2nd and 7th Scout group for many years.
I am also a volunteer football coach with Welwyn Garden City Youth FC. My passion for the area runs
deep!

I believe I am a capable candidate, able to represent the people living in our local area, Welwyn
Garden City South. I will work tirelessly to make my local area a better place to live and work. I
commit to being there for you, answering your calls, emails and being available whenever needed.
