Hertfordshire’s children’s services are rated Outstanding by Ofsted, and our adult services are among the best in the country, according to the Care Quality Commission. We’re the first county to earn “Age-Friendly” accreditation from Age UK. Our compassionate care includes tackling domestic abuse, supporting the voluntary sector, and creating a new care hub.

- Strengthening local care: Opened new nursing homes in Wormley and South Oxhey to meet rising demand.
- A lifeline for the vulnerable: Delivered 583,969 meals to 18,268 residents through the incredible work of HILS.
- Inclusive opportunities: 170 adults with learning disabilities supported through Sunnyside Rural Trust, promoting independence and skills.

- Attracting and retaining top care workers: Continuing to invest in wages to guarantee the best care for our elderly and vulnerable.
- Expanding Meals on Wheels and community support: Reaching 5,000 more residents who rely on these essential services.
